Karagwe District Cooperative Union (KDCU LTD) is a coffee Cooperative Organisation in northwest Tanzania, near Lake Victoria and the borders of Uganda and Rwanda. Established in 1990, KDCU aims to improve the economic and social well-being of its members. Their vision is to empower members through cooperative services for sustainable development. Kyerwa and Karagwe districts, where KDCU operates, are known for producing 90% of the region's Robusta coffee, making KDCU a significant player in the local coffee industry. It holds certifications as a fair trade member and organic producer, ensuring high-quality and environmentally friendly coffee production.
