The Permata Gayo Cooperative was founded in 2006 by a group of 50 farmers in the Bener Meriah district. Today, the cooperative brings together 2122 members. Permata Gayo is known for their high-quality coffee, which is grown in the Gayo Highlands of Aceh. The cooperative is dedicated to sustainable farming practices and supports local farmers in the region. In addition to producing coffee, the cooperative also focuses on community development and empowerment, providing training and support to farmers to improve their cultivation techniques and livelihoods.
